I’m Aimee Nelson, I’ve been working for Verisure now for over a year.

It will be two in April/ May.

It’s been an exciting rollercoaster, since joining Verisure I’ve always worked in the Sales Recruitment team, moving between different work streams. Initially joining as an apprentice and now worked my way up to a Sales Recruitment Agent.

I support the sales team by engaging with potential candidates. We make sure their sole focus stays on sales.

We’re a very fast paced environment, our days consists of morning calls to confirm bookings and interviews. The rest of the day continues at this pace, we focus on new bookings. It’s fantastic a day never drags.

You keep going and see how many bookings you can get. My personal record is 44 bookings in a single day. However, it’s not always like that, sometimes you finish the day on 15, it’s all part of the job.

Growing up, I was always told I was a talker.

My mother and Grandmother never got a break, joining Verisure I found a place to put my voice to good use. There has been times where me and my manager have listened back to calls and laughed because I’ve talked so much I’ve lost my voice.

It’s definitely made my home more peaceful for everyone.

Obviously, the people keep me coming back too; they’ve always played a big part in my time at Verisure. When I started, I was new to everything, the systems confused me. Having great people around who were there to help made everyday easier. I now get to pass that knowledge on to all the new team members.

It’s just a really great place to work.
