   A company which offers a fixed price on security items does not take these characteristics into consideration. For example, you may want a shock sensor near your back door, but you aren’t yet aware your washer will set it off every time you do laundry. Without coming to inspect the property in person, a security company may just send you a quote which includes that back door sensor (with the extra cost).
