I joined Verisure in June settling into the role Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) Agent. ARC operates as our customers 24/7 response team, we’re the first contact in the event of a triggered alarm.
December 1st will be my six month mark, an exciting first milestone at Verisure.
We’re the beating heart of the organisation.
Our role as ARC agents is to be the first contact with customers in the event of an emergency. We monitor their alarm systems 24/7.
We’re the people who react, the people who engage and take action. We are an integral part of how the company runs. Carrying out the motto to protect, to survey, to secure.
I have to start by mentioning my fantastic team.
I know we are there to support each other when times get tougher. There is always someone to speak to, there’s a real family spirit at Verisure.
However, the biggest part of the role and most fulfilling is being able to support our customers. Every SOS is different, sometimes we have to escalate calls but just knowing you’ve been there to reassure our customers lets you leave with a smile at the end of the day.
